Early plans had us visiting the Swallow Street Bar, but it has been closed down. Although swigging from bottles, and cans in the street wasn't ideal, it did mean that we could drink in the correct street rather than settling for an adjacent one. Tom "Badger Badger Badger Badger" Aston urinated behind a skip.

Gareth "Bootilicious" Rees and Kenny "Dirty Dawg" Cramer shared a hip flask of impressively elderly whisky.

Greg "Tug" Withnail had a minature bottle of Bailey's.

Kate "Mad Hatter" Llewellyn and Tom shared a half-bottle of white wine. (There was no wash basin behind that skip Kate!)

On the way to Bow Street, the group accidentally split into three groups:

  • Gareth "Bootilicious" Rees and Greg "Tug" Withnail.
  • Kate "Mad Hatter" Llewellyn, James "Ironman" Llewellyn, Kenny "Dirty Dawg" Cramer and Sarah "Jalopy" McDonald.
  • Tom "Badger Badger Badger Badger" Aston.

This happened at 18:26.

The latter two groups combined to seek out the former. Once all were reunited outside the Theatre Royal (showing Lord of the Rings) we carried on to The Marquess.

It was here that Tom "Badger Badger Badger Badger" Aston first started showing real signs of falling asleep. While the rest of the group went outside with their drinks, he leaned against a pillar in the pub and swayed.

Gareth "Bootilicious" Rees exploited Tom's state by using it as an excuse to engage some females in conversation. Having (allegedly) turned down an invitation to sit with them, he (allegedly) was asked to meet them after finishing the MBPC.

We also ran into another group of MBPCers here.

Tom came outside, as there weren't enough people falling asleep on the pavement, and remedied the situation promptly.

Tom "Badger Badger Badger Badger" Aston: "You're a very attractive lady."
